We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible. 

Almost all of our packaging is biodegradable if not it is certainly recyclable. Our plastic cups, lids, salad boxes, cardboard cups, cutlery and more are made from renewable resources such as reed and cornstarch. Reed is taken from rivers and lakes when they become over grown. Previously these reeds were burnt but now they can be processed to form a durable plastic. Cornstarch produces poly lactic acid which can also be processed to form a durable plastic.  All these renewable resources are totally food safe and biodegradable, so you’ll also helping to protect the world’s natural resources. Add the packaging to your compost bin once you are done with them.  The packaging breaks down in 6 to 12 weeks!

Our biodegradable packaging is a great alternative to traditional food packaging. Tradition packaging takes many years to breakdown in landfill site’s and many plastics are not recyclable by your local council.  So you will have peace of mind when purchasing from Warblingtons knowing you are helping to protect the planet.

We squeezed many oranges at our events so we are left with hundreds of orange skins. If you would like some orange skins for protecting your veg patch from the slugs (it works!) or to add to your compost bin, please email to arrange collection.
